NECO releases June /July 2017 results


The National Examinations Council (NECO), on thursday released the June/July 2017 Senior Secondary Schools results.

Registrar of the council, Prof. Charles Uwakwe, announced the result at the NECO headquarters in Minna, Niger State capital.

He said 745,053 candidates, representing 70.85 per cent of the 1,051,472 that sat for the examinations got at least five credits, including Mathematics and English Language.

Uwakwe said the performance of the candidates in this year’s examinations represents 1.11 per cent improvement when compared with 2016.

Easy Steps – How To Check NECO Results

  • Select year Examination Type
  • Select year of examination
  • Enter your card PIN number
  • Enter your Examination Number
  • Click on “Check My Result” button
Enter your details in the boxes provided on NECO website – http://www.mynecoexams.com/results. With correct details, your result will be displayed. If your details are not displayed, then recheck to be sure you haven’t made a mistake.

  • Type: Select from the drop down menu: (June/July, Nov/Dec, JSCE, NCEE)
  • Exam Year: Select the year of examination: (2000 – 2017)
  • Pin No: Enter the pin from the NECO scratch card purchased from any NECO office
  • Exam No: Enter your examination number which includes exam center and seat number
  • Click on Check My Result.

How to Print NECO Result 2017

You can now print out your result by clicking on the Print Icon on the NECO website page or use your keyboard by pressing Ctrl+P.
Select your printer connected to your computer and click OK. (Your result will be printed).

The management of Covenant University (CU) has released the 2nd Batch admission list of candidates admitted into the institution for the 2017/2018 academic session has been released.

ABU Post-UTME 2017: Cut-off Mark, Screening and Registration Procedures


This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Ahmadu Bello University(ABU) Zaria for the 2017/18 academic session and who chooses the institution their FIRST CHOICE that they must appear for the screening through Computer Based Testing (CBT) starting from Monday 25th - Saturday 30th September, 2017.

QUALIFICATION FOR SCREENING

REGISTRATION
Registration for the screening exercise commences on Monday 11th September, 2017 and closes on Saturday 23rd September, 2017.

To register, candidates are required to log into https://putme.abu.edu.ng or click on 2017/2018Post-UTME Registration on the Ahmadu Bello University website https://abu.edu.ng.

Applicants are required to pay the sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only as screening fee.

Payment can either be made via Remita using any valid and acceptable debit card (Visa, verve and Master Card) OR by printing the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) slip and proceed to any commercial Bank. Candidates need not travel to Zaria to make payment.

On the day of screening, candidates must come along with the print-out of their schedule slips with the uploaded passport photograph and a printout of the UTME result which must be submitted on the day of the screening

Candidates should please note that

Only JAMB calculator will be allowed into the venue
GSM Phones and other electronic devices are not allowed into the venue
Parents, Guardians and uninvited Law enforcement agents will not be allowed into the venue
ABU is not liable for payment made into any other account other than the one provided.
Candidates MUST keep photocopies of all submissions for their own record

VENUE OF SCREENING
Candidates should report to the venue of screening indicated on their Post-UITME slip at least one hour before the scheduled time.

Any candidate who fails to appear for the screening exercise on the dates indicated above will not be considered for admission into the university during the 2017/2018 academic session.
